February 3, 2011

Maybe you feel the same, but we sure have had enough of the snow and ice this winter. The big question is has your roof had enough?

We all see the piles of snow on the ground…piles along the walk, piles next to the driveway and piles in the parking lots. But have you checked the current snow load on your roof? While many of the storms we have had this season have been relatively light, dry snows, the repeated melting and freezing of snow and ice on a roof can significantly increase the weight of accumulated snow. In the Hudson Valley, there have been roof collapses in Cold Spring, Port Jervis and Kingston.

If you feel that you roof may have accumulated an excessive amount of snow, contact us for an estimate to remove some or all of the snow from your roof. By utilizing our 75’ aerial lift truck, we can safely remove snow from roofs that might otherwise be unsafe to access. By lightening the load, we can help to keep your roof where it belongs – over your head.
