Stump grinding is a mechanical process which destroys stumps in a neat and efficient manner. The stump grinder grinds the stump into mulch, which can then be easily removed or recycled and used in a garden. The stump grinder goes 10"-12" deeper than ground level, to ensure that no physical trace of the stump remains in view and the land which it occupied will be fully usable. After the stump is ground, the hole left behind is filled with soil and planted with grass. Or replanted with a new tree!
